Since the start of September, the top Valorant teams in the world have been fighting for their share of the massive $1 million prize pool at the Valorant Champions 2022 tournament. Now, only four remain, and this weekend, a new Valorant world champion will be crowned. Here’s what you need to know.

Valorant Champions 2022 Finals

Following an exciting group stage, eight of the 16 teams competing at the Valorant Champions 2022 held in Istanbul, Turkey, were eliminated, and eight made it to the playoffs.

LOUD and OpTic Gaming barreled through both the group stage and the playoffs matches thus far. The stakes couldn’t be higher with the playoffs taking place in front of a live crowd at the Volkswagen Arena. These two teams will now face each other on Friday, and one of them will secure a spot in the grand final.

There are four matches left before a champion gets crowned. To make it easy on our loyal readers, we have all the matches and the exact start time of these matches outlined in the schedule below. All times are in SAST.

  • Upper Bracket Final – OpTic Gaming vs LOUD – 16 September at 16:00.
  • Lower Bracket Semi-Final – FunPlus Pheonix vs DRX – 16 September at 19:00.
  • Lower Bracket Final – 17 September at 16:00.
  • Grand Final – 18 September at 16:00.
