Game of Phones S2 announced with R10,000 prize pool

From The Toyota Gaming Engine comes Season 2 of Game of Phones, dubbed “House of Data.” This follows a successful Season 1 back in March 2022, which South African OkayWasabi won last time around. Here’s what you need to know, so you don’t miss out on Game of Phones Season 2.

Game of Phones S2 details

This is a 1v1 Clash Royale tournament for South African gamers to compete in. Registrations are open and completely free. All you need to do is head on over to the Game of Phones S2 page on TTGE to enter today.

There will be two qualifiers, with the first one kicking off on 4 April 2023. The first 64 players to sign up for each qualifier will get to compete, so spots are limited. The top four players from each qualifier will make it to the finals, where a huge prize pool of R10,000 is on the line.

Prize Pool distribution:
  • 1st Place – R5 000
  • 2nd Place – R3 000
  • 3rd Place – R2 000
Schedule:
  • 4 April 2023 – Qualifier 1
  • 6 April 2023 – Qualifier 2
  • 13 April 2023 – Finals

You must be 18 years of age or older to compete in this event. This is a single-elimination format tournament, with all matches being best-of-three for the qualifiers. The qualifiers start at 19:00 SAST each day, with check-ins opening one hour before. Good luck to everyone who enters; may the best “phone warrior” win.

Don’t forget to follow The Toyota Gaming Engine on Twitter, and follow ACGL as well while you are at it. If you plan on participating, then be sure to join the Discord server.
