ATK School Esports program with free monthly practice hours

Are you part of a school or university club in the “wider Cape Town area” looking to practice with your team in a great environment set up for just that? Then you should definitely make your education institution aware of South African esports organization ATK Arena‘s School Esports Program.

ATK School Esports program details

ATK’s state-of-the-art venue can be used by schools and universities for their esports club practice after a successful application. Schools will be provided with four (4) hours of free practice per month at ATK Arena’s venue in Cape Town. Extra time will be charted at R50 per hour per student, and a 15-minute setup time is allocated per practice session.

ATK explains how a learning institution can apply:

“A school must simply provide a list of all the students that have committed themselves to their Esports club to and cc This includes names, surnames, in-game names, and games played for their school with no more than 30 school students (unlimited university Esports club students) on the list. ATK will assume that the requisite permissions have been gathered from their guardians for transport to and from the Arena and to play gaming-titles that fall above the recommended age for a student. ATK will then create an Arena account for them on our Arena software to track their hours used. Only one list of students may be submitted to ATK per year, so make sure the list is accurate.”
