Mettlestate Cash Cups this week | 5 to 11 December 2022
Even with the All Stars Rocket League event taking place this weekend, the South African tournament organizer Mettlestate still has time to provide local gamers with a handful of Cash Cups to compete in this week. Here’s what you need to know.
Mettlestate Cash Cups this week
There are a total of five Cash Cups featuring a variety of esports titles from Mettlestate for South Africans to enjoy. It is also the first time two Cash Cups are taking place on the same day and time to the best of our knowledge. Generally speaking, we have only one per day. Spoiler: Monday is going to be awesome!
Check out all the essential details for this week’s cash cups below, with information sourced via the Mettlestate event page. Please note: Times are South African Standard Time (SAST).
- Clash Royale cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Monday, 5 December at 19:30.
- COD Mobile cup – Solos Battle Royale tournament starting on Monday, 5 December at 19:30.
- MultiVersus cup – 2v2 tournament starting on Tuesday, 6 December at 19:30.
- Rocket League cup – 3v3 tournament starting on Wednesday, 7 December at 19:30.
- Clash of Clans cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Thursday, 8 December at 19:30.
Check-ins open a few hours before the tournaments get underway. All the tournaments are free to enter but feature a base prize pool of R1,000. That increases to R2,000 depending on the top three players’ VIP status.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R500 (R1,000 with VIP)
- 2nd place – R300 (R600 with VIP)
- 3rd place – R200 (R400 with VIP)
Remember, VIP members who make it into the top three cups will double their payout.
