The Evolution Championship Series 2022 (EVO 2022) took place over the past weekend, from 5 to 7 August 2022. Following an online event last year, it was fantastic to see the top fighting game players from across the globe compete in a LAN environment at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Fighting games fans looked on over the weekend as the best players in the world competed. There were several titles to compete in, from mainstays such as Tekken 7 and Mortal Kombat 11 to the recently-released MultiVersus.
