R15,000 FIFA 19 Tournament at Canal Walk

With the release of FIFA 19, it is only to be expected that the tournaments would follow. And Canal Walk is happy to oblige. From 24 October 2018, there is a free entry ‘Football’ tournament with cash up for grabs.

The FIFA 19 tournament forms part of the Canal Walk Gaming Expo (powered by BT Games) which brings cosplay, competitions, giveaways, new releases, exclusive offers and exhibits to the Cape Town shopping centre.

Interested contestants can register here. There are eight qualifying heats with a player cap of 64 each. Players will only be allowed to compete in one qualifier and attempting to register more than once will result in disqualification from the competition. The top eight players from each qualifier will return on Sunday to compete in a 64-player grand final. The tournament will be played on PlayStation 4.
