HSEL VS Gaming EA FC 24 event at Comic Con Africa CPT
Are you going to Comic Con Africa Cape Town? Well, if you are a high school student wanting to compete in some EA FC 24 esports action, then Telkom VS Gaming has you covered with the HSEL Heroes of the Pitch event. Here’s what you need to know.
HSEL Heroes of the Pitch details
I confirmed with Telkom VS Gaming that this event is for EA FC 24 via social media. The event is open to all students from schools that have signed up for the VS Gaming HSEL League. If your school is not part of the HESL, and you want to participate, get your teacher to sign you up to enter the event via the signup sheet. You can find more details about signing up on the event’s FACEIT page.
Registration closes on Sunday, 21 April 2024, at 23:55, so don’t miss out.
The event takes place at Comic Con Africa Cape Town on Monday, 29 April 2024. This is a one-day 32-player knockout cup. The tournament format is a single-elimination bracket, where all matches are best-of-three. You will, of course, need to purchase your own ticket to Comic Con Africa for the day of the event.

- 11:00 – Doors Open
- 11:20 to 11:35 – Event Begins / Pre-show
- 11:35 to 12:35 – Round of 32 (1)
- 12:35 to 12:45 – Intermission
- 12:45 to 13:45 – Round of 32 (2)
- 13:45 to 13:55 – Intermission
- 13:55 to 14:55 – Round of 16
- 14:55 to 15:05 – Intermission
- 15:05 to 16:05 – Round of 8
- 16:05 to 16:40 – Intermission
- 16:40 to 17:40 – Round of 4
- 17:40 to 17:50 – Intermission
- 17:50 to 18:50 – 3rd Place Playoff
- 18:50 to 19:00 – Intermission
- 19:00 to 20:00 – Grand Final
- 20:00 – Doors Close
In case you haven’t been following the EA FC 24 action, the finals of the eDiski Season 7 league will also take place at Comic Con Africa Cape Town, so there’s a lot to look forward to from a spectator’s point of view as well.
