Goliath Gaming searching or FIFA players with McDonald’s SA
McDonald’s South Africa and South African multi gaming organisation, Goliath Gaming, are on the search for South Africa’s next FIFA gaming superstars.
A total of four successful candidates will join the Goliath Gaming Academy team or a “select period of time”.

According to the press release, the two brands are “looking forward to unearthing South Africa’s hidden FIFA gems and providing them with the support and opportunities to level up their game.”
It goes on to state that the “goal with the Academy is to provide opportunities to empower and upskill young gamers who display passion and promise, showing them just what it takes to compete at the top level of FIFA in SA. The search is open to aspiring FIFA gamers of all levels who have a passion for FIFA and are interested in taking their gaming to the next level.”

An online registration page is the starting point got interested gamers to sign up.
A vetting process of submissions will see the the top 128 head to a series of FIFA competitions at a variety of McDonald’s SA restaurants around Johannesburg.
Ultimately, the top three gamers in the competition will earn their spot into the Goliath Gaming Academy, while a fourth bonus spot will be awarded to the gamer who gets the most community votes.
The dates and venues of the McDonald’s live events are as follows, however, do not expect to be able to walk in and compete. You must register online first:

The Reward
The four players will “join Goliath Gaming under their Academy for a select period of time and will get to work closely with the team to hone their skills.”
Goliath Gaming Academy representatives will get a gaming console, screen and other related equipment, with a buffed up internet connection, for the duration of their time in the Goliath Gaming Academy.
Players will also receive FIFA coaching from the Goliath Gaming FIFA team, as well as gain access to Goliath Gaming facilities, and will also receive performance coaching from the team’s performance coach.
Academy players will also represent Goliath Gaming in the official McDonald’s SA co-branded merch.
