FIFA 22 Sapphire Edge adidas Cup features R20,000 in clothing vouchers
There’s a lot going on at South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL), from the weekly tournaments including Vox cups and ASTRO Gaming cups. If you are a FIFA 22 esports fan or just someone who wants to compete and happen to love adidas clothing, well, then the Sapphire Edge adidas Cup is something to get excited about.
Sapphire Edge adidas Cup details
The Sapphire Edge adidas Cup has been announced over at ACGL’s website. This is a FIFA 22 tournament that will be played on PlayStation systems. The tournament will take place over the weekend of 26 and 27 February so mark your calendar right now.
The Sapphire Edge adidas Cup features R20,000 in adidas clothing vouchers as the prize pool. Registration is completely free of charge so head on over to the Groups Stage page on ACGL to sign up. Bare in mind that registration is limited to 128 players. The top two players from each group (Round-robin format) will head into the playoffs stage on Sunday, 27 February.
Prize distribution (value in adidas clothing vouchers):
- 1st Place: R10,000
- 2nd Place: R6,000
- 3rd Place: R4,000
Sapphire Edge adidas Cup matches begin at 14:00 SAST each day, with check-in opening at 13:00. If you fail to check-in, your place in the tournament will be forfeited.
