Don’t miss the MTN SHIFT event at The Glen this weekend

Calling all interested gamers who happen to be in Johannesburg or the surrounding areas this weekend. That’s right, it’s time for another huge MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience, thanks to MTN, South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL), and a host of sponsors. Let’s just jump in and take a look at the most important details so you don’t miss out on the action.

MTN SHIFT The Glenn Mall event details

This is an in-person event taking place in Johannesburg at The Glenn Mall. The event runs this weekend, from 26 to 28 June 2026. We recommend that anyone able to do so go watch and compete in some awesome gaming activities!

The main event is the qualifier for the EA FC 26 National Football Tournament. There are the following prizes up for grabs:

• 1st – R2,500 gift card
• 2nd – R1,500 gift card
• 3rd – R1,000 gift card

The winner also gets to compete in the National Final at Canal Walk on 30 August 2026, where a huge R50,000 prize pool is on the line.
