Astro Gaming FIFA Series July features R5,000 prize pool
There’s always something going on over at South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) from matchfinders to weekly tournaments and bigger events. Thanks to a continued partnership between ASTRO Gaming and ACGL, we already have the Astro Gaming Free Fire Series with qualifiers underway.
FIFA 22 fans aren’t left out in the cold. Here’s what you need to know about the Astro Gaming FIFA Series from ASTRO Gaming and ACGL.
Astro Gaming FIFA Series details
Until the end of July 2022, you must compete in ACGL FIFA 22 Matchfinders. The top 16 players from the FIFA 22 PS ELO Leaderboard will make it into the Astro Gaming FIFA Series playoffs.
Those who make it to the playoffs will compete for a piece of the R5,000 prize pool. This tournament is open to PlayStation gamers only. It is really as simple as that. The playoffs kick off on 7 August at 14:00 SAST.
Playoffs prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R2,500
- 2nd place – R1,500
- 3rd place – R1,000
Match settings:
- Match Type: Online Friendlies
- Half Length: 5 minutes
- Controls: Any
- Game Speed: Normal
- Squad Type: Online
- Difficulty Level: World Class
- “Trainer” must be OFF
- Dynamic Tactics Allowed
- Stadium: Neutral ground when no Home and Away leg is played
- Weather: Clear
- Game Speed: Normal
- Defending: Tactical Defending Only
Remember, every match you complete on the ACGL site will also provide you with some Embers, which can be used to enter giveaways on the ACGL website.
