Are you ready to enjoy some more top-tier Dota 2 esports action? Well, ready or not, here comes PGL Wallachia Season 9, the first big LAN event since The International 2026. Let’s take a quick look at the tournament details so you don’t miss out.

PGL Wallachia Season 9 event details

At the PGL Studio venue in Bucharest, Romania, 16 of the best Dota 2 esports teams will compete live on LAN. PGL Wallachia Season 9 runs from 19 to 27 September 2026. There’s a huge $1 million prize pool (roughly R16.3 million) that teams are fighting for, making this an unmissable event.

The tournament begins with the Group Stage, which features a modified 16-team Swiss-System format with a single group. All matches are best-of-three. The top eight advance to the Playoffs Stage, while the rest are eliminated.

In the Playoffs Stage, a double-elimination format bracket is used for the final eight teams. All matches are BO3, except for the Grand Finals, which is BO5.
