The International 2022 China qualifier viewer’s guide
With 12 Dota 2 esports teams directly qualified through DPC points for The International 2022, regional qualifiers are underway, with the winner of each region claiming a spot at the massive, annual event. This week, the Chinese regional qualifier takes place, and as most fans know, it is arguably the strongest region. Here’s what you need to know about the China regional qualifier for The International 2022.
TI 2022 China qualifier details
The China regional qualifier runs from 8 to 12 September 2022. This is an online event. The team seedings are based on their DPC point total, followed by their standing in their respective regional league.
The tournament features a double-elimination bracket. The Round 1 lower bracket matches are best-of-one. Almost all other matches are best-of-three, except the grand final, which is best-of-five. There are a total of 13 teams competing for one single spot at The International 2022. These teams include the likes of Invictus Gaming, Royal Never Give Up, EHOME and event Vici Gaming!

The 2nd and 3rd-placed teams will make their way into Last Chance qualifier, and the rest will miss out on The International 2022. The stakes couldn’t be any higher.
