ESL One Birmingham Online Europe/CIS group stage results and playoffs schedule

The ESL One Birmingham Online Europe/CIS online tournament is entering its playoffs stage on 2 June. So far, we’ve seen some excellent group stage matches and some surprises.

Here’s the ESL One Birmingham Online Europe/CIS group stage results, as well as the playoffs schedule in South African time.

Group stage results

After a gruelling group stage, the playoffs for ESL One Birmingham Online Europe/CIS is now set. In Group A, we saw Team Secret and Team Nigma take first and second place respectively.

Vikin.gg and Team Liquid made it through in third and fourth place, while the bottom four teams were eliminated.

In Group B, we saw some upsets, with OG being knocked out of the tournament despite Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen’s return to the squad. In fact, OG only won one match in the group stage, ending second-t0-last.

VP.Prodigy took the top spot in Group B after a fantastic performance, while Alliance placed second. Both HellRaisers and FlyToMoon also managed to qualify, while the bottom four teams were eliminated.

With the group stage now complete, we look toward the playoffs.

Playoffs schedule

Since the group stage delivered some excellent matches and upsets, Dota 2 esports fans shouldn’t miss out on the ESL One Birmingham Online Europe/CIS playoffs.

The playoffs run from 2 to 7 June 2020, and each day starts at roughly 16:00 SAST. We already have the schedule for the first four matches, two in the Upper Bracket, and two in the Lower Bracket.

  • 2 June at 16:00 – Vikin.gg versus FlyToMoon – Lower Bracket
  • 2 June at 19:00 – HellRaisers versus Team Liquid – Lower Bracket
  • 3 June at 16:00 – Team Secret versus Alliance – Upper Bracket
  • 3 June at 19:00 – VP.Prodigy versus Team Nigma – Upper Bracket

All times above are in South African time. Keep in mind that the schedule could change slightly depending on how long matches last.

With the schedule in hand, the most important thing you still need to know is where to watch all the Dota 2 esports action take place.
