Dota 2 Collector’s Cache – Vote for your favourites
Dota 2 Battle Pass owners can now vote for their favourite cosmetic items sets created by the community, with the best of the best going into this year’s Collector’s Cache.
Dota 2 Collector’s Cache
From now until 12 June, you will be able to cast your vote for the items you love the most. There are 148 sets in total which players can vote on, by giving them a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
While only Dota 2 Battle Pass owners can vote, everyone else can view the 148 sets. There’s even a nice in-game preview for each set available. The sets with the highest scores will be included as the main items in this year’s Collector’s Cache.
Valve explains:
“The Dota 2 Workshop has seen an amazing amount of high-quality submissions for this year’s Collector’s Cache. As is custom, we’d like to invite all Battle Pass owners to weigh in on the process and help make the final selection.”
The cosmetic item sets with the highest scores when the Collector’s Cache voting finishes up on 12th June will be the main items of the Cache.
There are some really fantastic, community-created item sets to choose from this year. Valve thanked all the talented workshop artists who made submissions this year in a recent blog post.
It is always great to see Valve involve the community in their decision. Valve has been doing this for years, and it has become somewhat of a tradition.
At the time of writing, the release date for the Dota 2 Collector’s Cache for The International 10 is still unknown. The pricing is also unknown, and we don’t expect them to be too cheap, especially with the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate.
The Dota 2 Battle Pass is much more expensive this year due to the Dollar to Rand exchange rate, so we hope the Collector’s Cache won’t make our wallets cry.
