IEM Katowice 2022 playoffs – Full schedule and how to watch
Since mid-February 2022, CS:GO esports fans have been enjoying one of the first big tournaments of the year, IEM Katowice 2022. Hosted by ESL, IEM Katowice has been a staple of CS:GO esports, and this year’s edition has pulled out all the stops. This weekend, we enter the final stage of IEM Katowice 2022…the do-or-die playoffs.
IEM Katowice playoffs details
From Friday, 25 February to Sunday, 27 February, the remaining six teams will compete for their share of the $1 million prize pool. The playoffs will be held in Katowice, Poland at the massive Spodek Arena. Yes, this is a LAN event with all the trimmings, so if you haven’t tuned in yet, don’t miss out on the playoffs.
The playoffs feature a single-elimination bracket, with the top teams from each group claiming their spot in the semifinals. From the group stage, we also have the second and third-place teams in the quarterfinals. All matches are best-of-three, except the Grand Finals, which is a best-of-five slugfest.

- Quarterfinals 1 – Virtus.pro vs G2 Esports at 16:30 on 25 February.
- Quarterfinals 2 – FaZe Clan vs Gambit at 20:00 on 25 February.
- Semifinals 1 – Na’Vi vs winner of G2 and Virtus.pro at 16:30 on 26 February.
- Semifinals 2 – Heroic vs winner of FaZe and Gambit at 20:00 on 26 February.
- Grand Finals – Starting at 18:00 on 27 February.
Despite Na’Vi being ranked as the best team in the world going into IEM Katowice 2022’s playoffs, nothing is certain at this point, with all remaining teams having a shot at glory. Before the playoffs get underway, G2’s NiKo is the highest-rated player in the tournament so far, and the star rifler is looking on form, a frightening thought…
