Extra Salt invited to Fragadelphia BLAST Qualifier Fall 2021
We’ve been following nearly every move from Extra Salt, as the CS:GO squad based in North America features two South African players and a coach. While we haven’t seen much from the team of late, except for their participation in ESEA Season 38 Premier Division North America, this will soon change. Extra Salt has been invited to the Fragadelphia BLAST Qualifier Fall 2021, and there’s a lot at stake.
Fragadelphia BLAST Qualifier Fall 2021
Extra Salt is one of the four teams invited to the Fragadelphia BLAST Qualifier Fall 2021. The four invited teams will be joined by the top four from the Fragadelphia 15 tournament taking place from 10 to 12 September.
The invited teams are:
- Extra Salt
- GODSENT
- paiN Gaming
- TBA
The winning organization will get $25,000 as a participation fee. That’s not the reason this tournament is both exciting and important, however. The winner of the Fragadelphia BLAST Qualifier Fall 2021 will earn a spot in the Fall Showdown 2021, featuring a prize pool of $162,500.
Further, the top two teams at the Fall Showdown 2021 will earn a spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021, competing against the top teams in the world for a whopping $425,000, where the first place also includes a spot in the World Finals at the end of the year.
Yes, it is a long road for Extra Salt to possibly get to the World Finals. Saying that, however, it will be exciting to see them compete in the Fragadelphia BLAST Qualifier Fall 2021. The tournament runs from 13 to 15 September, and we will share a full viewer’s guide with our readers before it gets underway.
