Throughout September, we’ve seen the best 32 CS:GO esports teams in the world compete at the ESL Pro League Season 18 event in Malta. This week, it is time for the playoffs to get underway, so strap in, as we are all in for a wild ride! Here’s what you need to know.

ESL Pro League S18 playoff details

The ESL Pro League Season 18 playoffs will take place on LAN in front of a live crowd at the awesome InterContinental Malta venue, with top-tier casting and a host of talent on display.

With the gruelling group stage now complete, 16 teams have survived to fight in the playoffs. The playoffs are a single-elimination bracket affair, with all matches being best-of-three, with the exception of the grand final, which is best-of-five. The winner of ESL Pro League Season 18 gets the lion’s share of the prize pool ($850,000 in total) and direct invites to BLAST World Final 2024 and IEM Katowice 2024.

Round of 16 matches:
  • Fnatic vs. Monte – 26 September at 15:30 SAST.
  • Astralis vs. Eternal Fire – 26 September at 15:30 SAST.
  • Virtus.pro vs. 9z Team – 26 September at 15:30 SAST.
  • MOUZ vs. FURIA – 26 September at 15:30 SAST.

FaZe Clan, Complexity, Movistar Riders and BIG await the teams who win the Round of 16 matches. Furthermore, Na’Vi, ENCE, Team Vitality and G2 Esports await in the semifinals!

You can catch all the CS:GO esports action over on the official ESL CS:GO Twitch channel. It appears the matches will start each day at roughly 15:30 SAST. Keep in mind that this might change slightly depending on any unforeseen delays.
