Extra Salt, with South African IGL Johnny “JT” Theodosiou and coach Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen, recently placed second in the iBUYPOWER Mythic Masters Winter 2021 CS:GO esports tournament. For those who’ve been following the NA-based squad this year, we’ve got some good news.

Salters will be happy to know Extra Salt is one of the 16 teams competing in the ESL Pro League Conference Season 15 stage, with a shot at making it to ESL Pro League Season 15. Here’s what you need to know about the event.

EPL Conference Season 15 details

The ESL Pro League (EPL) Conference stage for Season 15 runs from this Tuesday, 23 November, until Sunday, 28 November. It features a prize pool of $27,000, which is roughly R420,000 at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate. More important for most teams, however, is that the top three will make their way to the group stage of the massive ESL Pro League Season 15 tournament.

The EPL Conference stage for Season 15 features a double-elimination bracket format. All matches are best-of-three. The first round of matches has already been drawn, with Extra Salt facing off against Sprout on 23 November at 17:30 SAST.

Each day, matches begin at roughly 14:30 SAST. CS:GO esports fans can catch all the action on the ESL_CSGO Twitch channel, so don’t miss out!

We would like to wish all the teams competing, but especially Extra Salt, all the best of luck in the ESL Pro League Conference stage for Season 15. While a win would be fantastic, even placing third will get them a spot at the ESL Pro League Season 15 group stage. The main event of ESL Pro League Season 15 is a LAN affair, with a prize pool of $823,000, begins in March 2022.
