ESL Challenger Rotterdam viewer’s guide

Nixuh, featuring the likes of Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek, Adam “adM” Mansoor and more, made it to ESL Challenger Rotterdam 2022 after a thrilling conclusion in the Closed Qualifier for South Africa, where they beat Bravado Gaming early in September. Now, with the ESL Challenger Rotterdam looming, we provide you with all the details so you don’t miss out on the CS:GO esports action.

ESL Challenger Rotterdam details

ESL Challenger Rotterdam will take place from 14 to 16 October 2022 in the Netherlands. This is an offline LAN event taking place at the Rotterdam Ahoy venue, where eight teams will compete for their share of the $100,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that is roughly R1.7 million to fight for.

The winning team will also be invited to ESL Pro League Season 17’s Conference Stage. Eight teams will compete, including Nixuh all the way from South Africa. The tournament features two double-elimination format (GSL) groups. The top two teams from each group advance to the single-elimination bracket playoffs stage.

Prize pool distribution:
  • 1st place – $50,000
  • 2nd place – $20,000
  • 3rd to 4th place – $10,000 each.
  • 5th to 6th place – $3,000 each.
  • 7th to 8th place – $2,000 each.
