BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 viewer’s guide
The CS:GO esports action just never stops, well, until Counter-Strik2 releases! This week, fans of the ever-popular team-based FPS title from Valve can enjoy the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 event, and we’ve got you covered with all the important details.
BLAST Fall Groups 2023 details
The BLAST Fall Groups 2023 event starts this Thursday, 13 July 2023. It runs until 23 July 2023 and features 12 world-class teams, from Na’Vi to FaZe Clan and much more. The teams are competing in an offline LAN event in Copenhagen, Denmark, for a prize pool of $177,498. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R3.3 million.
The format features three double-elimination (GSL-style) groups in the Group Stage. Each group has four teams, and all matches are best-of-three. The winner of each group advances to the Fall Final, while the remaining teams head to the play-in stage.
During the play-in stage, there are three single-elimination gauntlets, with all matches being best-of-three. The winner of each gauntlet advances to the Fall Final, while the rest advance to the American and Europe Fall Showdowns, depending on their region.
