IEM Dallas 2024 results & highlights
At IEM Dallas 2024, 16 of the best Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports teams in the world competed for their share of the $250,000 prize pool and the honor of being named the 100th IEM champion. Here’s what went down, featuring results, an old-school battle report, and a video with highlights from the grand finale.
IEM Dallas 2024 final standings
In Group A, tournament favorites MOUZ were knocked out early, and 9z shocked fans by beating both MOUZ and Vitality. In Group B, Na’Vi was sent home early, leading to an unpredictable playoff stage. Continue reading to find out what happened, or watch the highlights video below, or both!
During the IEM Dallas 2024 Playoffs in front of the crowd at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Vitality wasted no time dispatching HEROIC and then Team Spirit without breaking a sweat.
On the other side of the bracket, G2 Esports, with Stewie2K as a sub, shocked the crowd by beating FaZe Clan with a convincing 2-0 and then putting an end to 9z Team’s miracle run to make it to the grand final of IEM Dallas 2024.
In the finale of IEM Dallas 2024, the 100th IEM event, G2 Esports took their map pick, Inferno, after an intense double overtime battle. Then, Vitality fought back on Anubis, tying up the series after an overtime slugfest.
In the end, it was G2 Esports who came out on top with a 13-8 win on Nuke, beating Vitality 2-1 to become the IEM Dallas 2024 champions.

- 1st place: G2 Esports wins $100,000 and an invite to IEM Cologne 2024.
- 2nd place: Team Vitality wins $42,000.
- 3rd & 4th place: 9z Team and Team Spirit win $20,000 each.
- 5th & 6th place: FaZe Clan and HEROIC win $10,000 each.
- 7th & 8th place: Team Liquid and BIG win $6,000 each.
- 9th – 12th place: MOUZ, Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro, and Team Falcons win $5,000 each.
- 13th – 16th place: Monte, M80, Complexity, and FlyQuest win $4,000 each.
