IEM Cologne 2024 playoffs this weekend
With the grueling Play-In and Group Stages of IEM Cologne 2024 now complete, it is time for the all-important and final Playoffs stage to begin. We’ve already seen awesome Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports action, and now, it is time to learn who will come out on top and lift the IEM Cologne 2024 trophy at the ANXESS Arena, aka the Cathedral of Counter-Strike.

This weekend, from 16 to 18 August 2024, the IEM Cologne 2024 Playoffs matches will take place. Only six teams remain with a shot at glory, and the matchups have already been determined thanks to the results from the Group Stage. Below, you can check out all the IEM Cologne 2024 Playoffs Stage matches alongside their dates and times in SAST.
- SAW vs. FaZe Clan (Quarterfinal) – Friday, 16 August at 15:45.
- G2 Esports vs. MOUZ (Quarterfinal – Friday, 16 August at 19:00.
- Team Vitality vs. winner of SAW/FaZe (Semifinal) – Saturday, 17 August at 15:45.
- NAVI vs. winner of G2/MOUZ (Semifinal) – Saturday, 17 August at 19:00.
- Grand Final – Sunday, 18 August at 17:00.
Remember, IEM Cologne 2024’s playoffs feature a single-elimination bracket format with all matches being BO3, except for the grand final, which is BO5. Therefore, there’s little room for error, and the stakes are high. Not only will the winner get a direct invite to IEM Katowice 2025 and the BLAST Premier World Final 2024, but they’ll also earn the lion’s share ($400,000) of the huge $1 million prize pool.
