BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1 finals taking place this week
Attention, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports fans! This is a big one. In fact, it’s the first S-Tier LAN event of 2025, and we can’t wait to see what goes down at the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1 Finals tournament. Let’s dive in and discuss all the most important details so fans don’t miss any of the exciting action.
BLAST Bounty S1 details
This week, from 23 to 26 January 2025, we’ll see the top eight teams from the online closed qualifiers compete for their share of the $500,000 prize pool. The prize pools at the BLAST Bounty events are dynamic, as teams earn money from collecting bounties (beating other teams), with 50% saved that they can keep and 50% on the line in the next match.
This new format from BLAST creates a tense atmosphere, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out on LAN in front of a crowd at the BLAST Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The format is a simple single-elimination bracket, where all matches are BO3, except for the grand finale, which is BO5. We’ve already seen some upsets in the closed online qualifier, with Team Falcons and FaZe Clan getting knocked out before the LAN phase.
