Attention, Call of Duty esports fans, especially those who love Battle Royale. After hard-fought battles and a ton of matches in all regions, it’s time for the Global Finals event of World Series of Warzone 2025 (WSOW), offering one day of incredible action! Let’s dive in.

WSOW 2025 Global Finals details

First off, the World Series of Warzone 2025 Global Finals takes place this week! Yes, you can watch the complete tournament on Wednesday, 1 October, running into 2 October in SAST, because timezone things.

The event takes place live in front of a crowd in Las Vegas, United States. The 50 top Trios teams (so 150 players total) will compete for their share of the huge $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R17.3 million.

The Trios teams will fight in the Match Point format. What does that mean, exactly? Well, there is no match limit for the WSOW Global Finals, and there is no limit to the number of teams that can become “Match Point Eligible.”

A team must reach 125 points to earn Match Point status. The first team with Match Point status to win the next game will become the World Series of Warzone 2025 champions. Once that happens, the rest of the standings will be determined by points.

You can also get some in-game viewership rewards just by tuning into the Twitch channel. Simply complete the following steps:

  • Create your Activision account and link your Battle.net, PSN, Xbox, or Steam account.
  • Link your Twitch account with your Activision account.
  • Watch live on Twitch while signed in with a linked account to earn rewards. Twitch: After achieving the unlock requirement, you must claim your drop here.

To watch the action live, tune in to the official Call of Duty Twitch channel on 1 October. The action begins on Wednesday evening at 21:00 SAST, and runs into the early morning of 2 October.
