EWC 2025 COD Black Ops 6 viewer’s guide
Attention, Call of Duty esports fans! It’s time for the Esports World Cup mega-event to feature Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, in a huge tournament with the best teams in the world competing. Here’s what you need to know so you don’t miss any of the action.
EWC COD Black Ops 6 event details
At the glorious STC Esports Arena venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 16 of the best Call of Duty teams in the world will compete from 24 to 27 July 2025. They are fighting for their share of the huge $1,800,000 prize pool, which at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, is roughly R32 million.
The teams are divided into four groups of four teams each during the Group Stage. In the Group Stage, the format is BO5 GSL-style, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Playoffs Stage.
In the EWC 2025 COD tournament’s Playoffs Stage, teams will compete in a thrilling single-elimination bracket, where the Grand Final is BO7, and the rest of the matches are BO5.
