CDL 2025 Championship results & final standings
As the crowning event of the Call of Duty League (CDL) season, the CDL 2025 Championship didn’t disappoint. With the eight best teams in the world competing in front of a live crowd at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium in Kitchener, Canada, sparks flew right from the get-go.
At the start of the tournament, OpTic Texas made quick work of Atlanta FaZe with a 3-0 victory. The squad kept up their dominating performance, beating Toronto Ultra 3-0 and Boston Breach 3-0 to make it to the Grand Final.
Vancouver Surge got knocked down to the lower bracket by Miami Heretics (3-1) in the first round, but recovered with an amazing lower bracket run. They beat LA Thieves 3-0 and Toronto Ultra 3-0, then took 3-2 revenge on Miami Heretics, and managed to beat Boston Breach 3-2 as well to make it to the Grand Final.
In the CDL 2025 Championship Grand Final, OpTic Texas got off to a strong start, winning the first game. While Vancouver Surge recovered with a win of their own, OpTic Texas took the next two, and Vancouver Surge responded with another two wins of their own. In the end, however, it was OpTic Texas won the last two games, and therefore, the Grand Final with a 5-3 scoreline.
Mason “Mercules” Ramsay picked up the MVP award for his fantastic performance throughout the Grand Final and most of the tournament.
