Burger King x MW2 Online tournaments via ACGL with cash prizes

We’ve already talked about the Burger King x Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 collab going on in South Africa, with prizes and an awesome Going Dark event in Cape Town.

However, those who can’t make it to a participating Burger King or venue don’t have to miss out. South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) has several Modern Warfare 2 online Cash Cups running! Here’s what you need to know.

Burger King MW2 Cash Cups

First up, it is completely free to enter the Burger King Modern Warfare 2 tournaments via ACGL. These tournaments are online, and all feature guaranteed cash prize pools. You can simply head on over to the Burger King page on ACGL’s website to enter.

BK MW2 Schedule:
  • 10 November: SND Duos | R1,000
  • 13 November: Squad Showdown | R2,000
  • 17 November: SND Duos | R1,000
  • 20 November: Squad Showdown | R2,000
  • 24 November: SND Duos | R1,000
  • 27 November: Squad Showdown | R2,000
  • 1 December: SND Duos | R1,000

Local gamers can also compete in any Modern Warfare 2 Matchfinder matches before 5 December 2022 to earn an entry into a random giveaway. Each match you play gets you one entry. The prize is R1,000 in Burger King vouchers and a Burger Town t-shirt.

Then, you can also equip the Burger King Modern Warfare 2 avatar on your ACGL profile. This will earn you Embers, and an entry into a random draw to possibly win R400 in Burger King vouchers as well as a Burger Town t-shirt…we want that shirt!

If that’s not all, there’s also some social media action with prizes. ACGL explains: “Keep your eye on the #BKCODZA hashtag and @AfricanGaming on Twitter during November. We will be giving away R100 Burger King vouchers daily during the Roadshow events. Expect questions, engagements and other requirements to gain entry to the random draw giveaway.”

You can keep up to date with all their announcements by following ACGL on Twitter and Facebook and joining their Discord server.
