Warzone Season 2: New guns and best competitive loadouts
The massive Warzone Season 2 update released on 25 February 2021, ushering in a new Battle Pass, the Zombie Outbreak game mode, new Points-of-Interest across Verdansk, new Operators and much more.
For competitive Warzone players, arguably the most important addition is the two new weapons. In this article, we will tell you how to unlock both the new Assault Rifle called the FARA 83, and the new Submachine Gun called the LC10. We’ve also got some competitive loadouts to share, making the most of these brand-new guns.
FARA 83: How to unlock and loadout
First up, the FARA 83 is quite easy to unlock. All you need to do is level up your new Warzone Season 2 Battle Pass to Tier 15. This should be achievable within the first week of play. Alternatively, you can open up your wallet and purchase Battle Pass Tiers to start playing with it right away.
The best competitive FARA 83 loadout is:
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 15.5″ Contour
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: Salvo 60 Rnd Fast Mag
- Optic: Visiontech 2x
Keep in mind things might change as the season progresses, and better loadouts might be found. At the time of writing however, this is the one which could give you a nice competitive edge in Verdansk.
LC10: How to unlock and best loadout
It will take quite some time to level up your Warzone Season 2 Battle Pass to Tier 31, which is where you can unlock the LC10 SMG. As with the FARA 83, you can open up your wallet and throw cash at Activision to unlock Battle Pass tiers instantly.
The best competitive LC10 loadout is:
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 13.9″ Task Force
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 53 RND Drum
- Stock: No Stock
Right now, players are still figuring out how to best equip the LC10. With this loadout, you can get a headstart against the competition, dominating the medium-ranged combat scenarios.
