Mythic Royale Apex Legends details
Let’s get straight to it, the Mythic Royale for Apex Legends starts this Saturday, 2 April 2022 (with the first qualifier). Four qualifiers will be played throughout April, and the final will take place on 7 May 2022. Registration for this tournament, just like any other event on ACGL, is completely free of charge.
This is a Trios Battle Royale tournament, so grab two friends and register without delay. Registrations are currently open for the qualifiers, and the best Trios will make it to the final. Head on over to the Mythic page on the ACGL website to register and learn more.
Schedule:
- 2 April: Qualifier 1
- 9 April: Qualifier 2
- 23 April: Qualifier 3
- 30 April: Qualifier 4
- 7 May: Final
Please note that each qualifier as well as the final will start at 14:00 SAST on the day.
There’s a guaranteed prize pool of R15,000 to fight for. However, this prize pool can go up to R25,000 with an additional R10,000 allocated to community goals. Once each community goal is reached, R2,500 will be added to the prize pool.
Mythic Community Goals:
- Social Media Reach of #MythicRoyale over 750,000 | R 2,500
- Participation: 16 or more confirmed participants per qualifier | R2,500
- Over 100 concurrent viewers in a live stream | R2,500
- Over 100 Retweets on the announcement post | R2,500
But what if you don’t feel you have any chance of getting to the top of this massive Apex Legends tournament? Well, fear not, as thanks to the Mythic Royale sponsors, there will be “at least R35,000 in product giveaways via the Loot system and other methods” according to the tournament organizer.
What’s the loot system? Well, for every match completed via the ACGL site, players will get some Embers, which they can use to enter Mythic Loot random giveaways. Each match you complete also counts towards your ACGL Apocalypse Season 1 battle pass for some shiny digital rewards. Basically, anyone can be a winner at ACGL, not just the most skilled players.
As always, if you are interested in local esports action, you should follow ACGL on Twitter, Facebook, as well as join their Discord server. Use the hashtag #MythicRoyale on social media to join the conversation, and help out on the campaign to reach those goals and add even more to the Mythic Royale 2022 Apex Legends tournament.
Fortnite fans are not left out in the cold, either, as the Fortnite Mythic Royale series will start on 15 May 2022. There are also two monthly Cash Cups with R500 prize pools each coming your way, and R2,000 cash a month has been allocated to a Solo Rank Cup.
This year’s Mythic Royale promises R150,000 cash across the two titles, with plenty of opportunities for competitors to win.
The finals will be streamed live on ACGL’s YouTube channel, so don’t miss out.
