Fortnite Super Cup from Mettlestate taking place this weekend

We’ve seen COD: Mobile, Overwatch and CS:GO Super Cups from South African tournament organizer Mettlestate over the past few months, and this week, it’s Fortnite’s turn. The bi-weekly Super Cups from Mettlestate feature a prize pool of R5,000 so there’s a lot to fight for. Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite Super Cup.

Fortnite Super Cup details

Registrations for the Fortnite Super Cup are open and will close on 8 May (Saturday) in the morning at 10:00 SAST. You can head on over to the dedicated Fortnite Super Cup page on the Mettlestate website to register. While registration is free, there’s a prize pool of R5,000 to fight for.

Prize pool distribution:
  • 1st place – R2,500
  • 2nd place – R1,500
  • 3rd place – R1,000

This is a solos tournament, so you don’t even need to find teammates to enter. The Fortnite Super Cup is open to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and mobile gamers. It will begin on 8 May at 12:00 SAST (Midday) and three matches will be played, with points tallied in the end to determine the winners.

The scoring system is:
  • Victory Royale: 33 Points
  • 2nd: 26 Points
  • 3rd: 22 Points
  • 4th: 19 Points
  • 5th: 17 Points
  • 6th: 16 Points
  • 7th: 15 Points
  • 8th: 14 Points
  • 9th: 13 Points
  • 10th: 12 Points
  • 11th – 15th: 9 Points
  • 16th – 20th: 7 Points
  • 21st – 30th: 5 Points
  • 31st – 40th: 3 Points
  • 41st – 50th: 2 Points
  • 51st – 75th: 1 Point
  • 76th – 100th: 0 Point
  • Eliminations – 4 point per Elim
