Avientic Trio Cup with R3,000 prize pool this week

South African tournament organizer Elite Pro Series and local esports organization Avientic has announced another Avientic Trio Cup for gamers to enjoy. With three qualifiers and the finals taking place this week, and a R3,000 prize pool to fight for, local Fortnite fans shouldn’t miss out.

Avientic Trio Cup details

All you need to do to register is get your friends together, form a Fortnite Trios squad, and head on over to the Elite Pro Series website. From here, you can follow the registration instructions. This tournament is open to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and mobile gamers.

There’s a prize pool of R3,000 to compete for, for the teams who make it to the finals. Despite this prize pool, registration is completely free.

Avientic Trio Cup schedule:
  • 29 March – Qualifier 1
  • 31 March – Qualifier 2
  • 1 April – Qualifier 3
  • 3 April – Finals

The qualifiers get underway at 17:00 SAST and registration close roughly one hour before the tournament begins. Good luck to all the local gamers who plan to enter!

This is an Arena Trios tournament open to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo mobile gamers. Three games will be played during each qualifier with the top Trios heading towards the final. In the final, five games will be played, with the following scoring system.

  • Victory Royale: 25 Points
  • 2nd: 21 Points
  • 3rd: 19 Points
  • 4th-17th: 1 Point Each
  • Each Elimination: 1 Point
