Avientic Trio Cup with R2550 for Fortnite players this week
South African tournament organizer Elite Pro Series and local esports organization Avientic has announced the Avientic Trio Cup for gamers to enjoy. With three qualifiers and the finals taking place this week, and a R2,550 prize pool to fight for, there’s a lot of action to look forward to. Here are the must-know details surrounding the Avientic Trio Cup.
Avientic Trio Cup details
First off, registration to one or all of the Avientic Trio Cup qualifiers is completely free. All you need to do to register is get your friends together, form a Fortnite Trios squad, and head on over to the Elite Pro Series website. From here, you can follow the registration instructions.
Avientic Trio Cup schedule:
- 16 March – Qualifier 1
- 17 March – Qualifier 2
- 18 March – Qualifier 3
- 19 March – Finals
The qualifiers get underway at 17h00 generally.
As we’ve mentioned at the start of this article, there’s a R2,550 prize pool for Trios teams to fight over. Check out the distribution below.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R1,500
- 2nd place – R1,050
This is an Arena Trios tournament open to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo mobile gamers. Three games will be played during each qualifier with the top Trios heading towards the final. In the final, five games will be played, with the following scoring system.
- Victory Royale: 25 Points
- 2nd: 21 Points
- 3rd: 19 Points
- 4th-17th: 1 Point Each
- Each Elimination: 1 Point
The tournament initially had to be postponed due to loadshedding. Let’s hope Eskom spares Fortnite esports fans this time around.
