ATK Fortnite Customs details

The ATK Fortnite Customs tournament is an offline event, meaning you can’t participate from the comfort of your own home. You will have to be at the venue to compete. It takes place in Cape Town at ATK Arena’s venue on Sunday, 5 March 2023.

ATK Arena’s address is 91 Main Road, Claremont, Stadium on Main Parkade, Ground Floor Level 1, Cape Town, South Africa, 7708.

The event starts at 10:00 and is expected to run until around 16:00. Entry per round will set you back R60. You can book your spot online via the event’s Quicket page or take your chances at entry by heading to the venue on the date. There’s a total prize pool of R12,000 on the line.

ATK explains how the event will work:

“6 rounds consisting of 1 solo play, building-enabled custom game per round. R2000 prize pool per round distributed amongst the top 5 point earners from the custom game. R60 entry per round. Maximum of 40 players per round, the first 40 people to sign-up online or at the door, per round get in. The event starts at 10 am so don’t be late!”

Prize distribution per round:
  • 1st place wins R800
  • 2nd place wins R500
  • 3rd place wins R300
  • 4th place wins R250
  • 5th place wins R150

ATK notes that while there are controllers available to hire, the numbers are limited (eight in total), so you can bring your own controllers and USB cables. There are generators, so there is no need to worry too much about loadshedding. Furthermore, you can bring your own headsets, mice, and keyboards.  For the latest ATK Fortnite tournament, ATK has set all Fortnite settings to performance mode.
