Apex Legends Mythic Royale announced with a huge prize pool
South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL), in partnership with MSI, Antec, Redragon, and Crucial, has announced the second series of Mythic Royale for Apex Legends. Here’s what you need to know about Mythic Royale Apex Legends coming your way in September and October 2022.
Apex Legends Mythic Royale details
First up, registrations are now open and are completely free to join. Go to the Apex Legends page on ACGL to start your journey. The top five trios per qualifier will head to the series finale on 1 October. The first qualifier kicks off on 3 September, so don’t miss out.
The schedule:
- 3 September: Qualifier 1
- 10 September: Qualifier 2
- 17 September: Qualifier 3
- 24 September: Qualifier 4
- 1 October: Final
So what can you win? Well, there’s a guaranteed prize pool of R15,000 and up to another R5,000 depending on which community goals get reached. Check out the community goals and the prize pool distribution of the Apex Legends Mythic Royale below.
Community Goals:
- Social Media Reach of #MythicRoyale over 1 million | R1,000
- Participation: 16 or more confirmed participants per qualifier | R1,000
- Over 80 concurrent viewers per live stream | R1,000
- Over 150 Retweets on the announcement post | R1,000
- Unlock all four community goals for a bonus R1,000
Prize Pool Distribution:
- 1st Place: R7,500 + R500 per goal
- 2nd Place: R3800 +R250 per goal
- 3rd Place: R2200 + R150 per goal
- 4th Place: R500 + R100 per goal
- 5th Place: R500
- 6th Place: R500
For every match you complete on the ACGL site, you secure Embers, which can be used to enter giveaways on the ACGL website. You can keep up to date with all their announcements by following ACGL on Twitter and Facebook and joining their Discord server.
If you don’t plan on competing, you can still help competitors reach the community goals, or you can watch all the action live. All qualifiers and the final will be streamed live on ACGL’s Twitch channel.
