ACGL Cash Cups taking place this week | 7 to 13 June
As South African esports fans are expecting, this week tournament organizer ACGL again has some great Cash Cups for gamers to compete in. Here’s what you need to know about both the Cash Cups and the qualifiers for bigger tournaments with cash prizes on ACGL this week.
ACGL Cash Cups – Important details
Here are the important details about the four scheduled ACGL Cash Cups scheduled to take place this week. All tournaments are free to enter, in case you were wondering.
- Clash Royale Cash Cup Solos – 1v1 tournament starting on 7 June at 19:00. First place gets R250.
- Mythic Cash Cup Killrace Solos – 1v1 tournament starting on 8 June at 19:00. First place gets R250.
- COD: Mobile SND Cash Cup – 2v2 tournament starting on 10 June at 19:00. First place gets R500.
- Apex Legends Killrace Cash Cup – Trios tournament starting on 12 June at 19:00. First place gets R500.
Remember, you can also earn Embers by competing, which in turn can be used to enter giveaways on the ACGL website.
PUBG: Mobile Duos qualifier
The first qualifier for ACGL’s PUBG: Mobile Duos Cash Series takes place on 10 June at 19:00 SAST. You can read more about the tournament series in our dedicated article.
The top 16 teams from this qualifier will move on to the finals which take place on 1 July 2021. Here, there will be a prize pool of R2,000 to fight for. Head on over to the qualifier page to register now.
Vox Rocket League Cash Series
ACGL in partnership with Vox Telecom announced the Vox Rocket League Cup last week. Check out our full coverage of the announcement. However, since it starts and ends this week, you should know there’s a prize pool of R10,000 to play for. It is open to all platforms and will be a 2v2 affair with a single-elimination bracket.
The Vox Rocket League Cup runs from 10 to 12 June 2021. You can head on over to the tournament’s dedicated page on ACGL to enter. There, you can also read through all the tournament rules and everything else competitors needs to know about. If you just want to mark your calendar and dive into the action, check out the full tournament schedule below. All times are in SAST.
10 June:
- 19:00 – Round 1 (of 256)
- 19:45 – Round 2 (of 128)
- 20:30 – Round 3 (of 64)
11 June:
- 19:00 – Round 4 (of 32)
- 19:45 – Round 5 (of 16)
- 20:30 – Round 6 (of 8)
12 June:
- 14:00 – Semifinal 1
- 14:45 – Semifinal 2
- 15:30 – Third and Fourth Playoff
- 16:15 – Final
