In the month of October 2026, South African tournament organizer Mettlestate keeps on giving us more, in the form of one of my personal favorites: the Battlegrounds events. Here’s what you must know so you don’t miss any of the action or prizes up for grabs.
Mettlestate’s October 2026 Battlegrounds
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Mettlestate Battlegrounds are month-long, leaderboard-style events that anyone can enter at any time. By our count, there are seven (7) new Battlegrounds for local gamers to enter in the month of October 2026.

These are all 1v1 tournaments, so you don’t need to organize any teammates. All Battlegrounds listed below are free to enter and feature prizes for players to compete for.
