The International 2026 delivered on all fronts, from a grueling Group Stage where only the best survived, to an exciting Playoffs Stage, where Dota 2 esports history was made. Here’s how things went down.
Team Spirit wins The International 2026
On the one side of the bracket, PARIVISION under the TEAM VISION moniker wasted no time making their presence felt, first sending BoomBoys to the Lower Bracket with a 2-1 score.
TEAM VISION went on a rampage in the Upper Bracket, beating Team Spirit in the Semifinals and Team Yandex in the Upper Bracket Final to earn a spot in the Grand Final.

After Team Spirit defeated Iron Wing in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals, they fell to the Lower Bracket thanks to rivals TEAM VISION’s 2-1 win.
Just one loss away from elimination, Team Spirit went on a massive Lower Bracket run, first sending Team Liquid home with a clean 2-0 sweep. They went on to eliminate BoomBoys 2-0 and Team Yandex 2-0 to earn a spot in the Grand Final without losing a single game.
In the Grand Final of The International 2026, Team Spirit drew first blood to go up 1-0. However, TEAM VISION pushed back with vigor, and a back-and-forth slugfest ensued, with Team Spirit completing their revenge and comeback to secure a 3-2 win.
Having previously won The International 2021 and The International 2023, Team Spirit made history to become the first-ever three-time champions of the iconic annual event, claiming the Aegis of Champions in dramatic fashion.
Team Spirit earned the lion’s share ($1,472,358) of the $3,464,456 prize pool. Congratulations!
