Gwen wins Trackmania at EWC 2026 to clinch Club Championship
In Paris, France, the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 mega-event came to a thrilling conclusion, with the decider of who would win the 1st-place prize of $7 million (roughly R112 million), up to the Trackmania event.
Yes, the finals of Trackmania at EWC 2026 became by far the driving game genre’s biggest-ever tournament, when it comes to the incredible stakes involved.
Throughout EWC 2026, defending two-time Club Championship winners, Team Falcons, were neck-and-neck with AG.AL International, trading the top spot as tournaments finished up.
It was an incredibly intense affair in the finals of Trackmania, especially between the 2nd and 3rd places, with just eight points seperating Epos and Pac. However, French star Gwendal “Gwen” Duparc was far ahead of the rest of the pack, with 141 points resulting in a comfortable 26-point buffer.
Gwen’s win earned his organization, AG.AL International the exact 1,000 points required to win the overall EWC 2026 Club Championship, and thereby, the $7,000,000 1st-place prize. Congratulations!
