At the PGL Studio in Bucharest, Romania, the incredible S-Tier Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports event, PGL Bucharest 2025, came to a thrilling conclusion on 13 April 2025. Let’s take a look at what went down with our results report and highlights video.

In the Group Stage, G2 Esports and 3DMAX came out on top with 3-0 scores, while the likes of FaZe Clan and Team Falcons made it through by the skin of their teeth with 3-2 scores.

However, during the PGL Bucharest 2025 Playoffs Stage, things changed dramatically, as Team Falcons proved to the crowd that they are not just good on paper. With superstar Nikola “NiKo” Kovač on top form, Team Falcons managed to reverse-sweep GamerLegion with a 2-1 score, then despatched FaZe Clan in a close 2-1 to make it to the Grand Final.

On the other side of the bracket, G2 Esports didn’t drop a single map, beating Virtus.pro 2-0 and Complexity Gaming 2-0 to make it to the Grand Final of PGL Bucharest 2025.

In the Grand Final, Team Falcons shocked the crowd by smacking G2 Esports around as if they were a Tier 2 team. With NiKo’s incredible form, Team Falcons won Mirage 13-5, Nuke 13-7, and Ancient 13-8. With a dominating 3-0 result, Team Falcons won PGL Bucharest 2025, demolishing G2 Esports. Congratulations to Team Falcons for winning PGL Bucharest 2025!

We can’t wait to see what the squad does next, especially since m0NESY has reunited with NiKo on the Team Falcons roster in a shocking player transfer on 13 April 2025, just after the completion of PGL Bucharest 2025.
