As the first Major Championship for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 delivered on all fronts, giving us one fantastic show to enjoy. Here’s what went down in Denmark, with the complete results and final standings, alongside a highlights video from the grand final!

In the Opening Stage, HEROIC and Cloud9 dominated proceedings. We saw some upsets with ENCE bowing out early and The MongolZ making it through to the Elimination Stage. During the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 Elimination Stage, Team Spirit and MOUZ topped the group with 3-0 scores, while the likes of Vitality, FaZe Clan, and Na’Vi made it through, and Complexity, with a South African IGL and coach got knocked out after some close battles.

In the Playoffs of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, we saw FaZe Clan take revenge on Team Spirit with a 2-1 win and then eliminate Team Vitality with another 2-1 to make it to the grand final.

On the other side of the bracket, Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen led Na’Vi through Eternal Fire with a clean 2-0 and then through G2 Esports with a 2-1 to make it to the grand final, something many fans didn’t expect.

Na’Vi got off to a strong start in the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 grand final, beating FaZe Clan 13-9 on Ancient. Then, FaZe fought back on Mirage with a dominating 13-2 victory. Aleksib’s men rallied, however, and returned the favor on Inferno with a smashing 13-3 score to win the grand finals 2-1.

A big congratulations go out to Na’Vi for, against the odds, beating everyone in sight and claiming the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 trophy, alongside the first-place prize of $500,000!
