VCT 2026 Stage 2 Pacific results & final standings
Shock and awe at the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Stage 2 Pacific tournament, as favorites were slain and an unlikely squad emerged victorious.
While Global Esports isn’t a household name when you think of trophy contenders in top-tier VALORANT esports, the side punched hard and found fantastic results.
In Group Alpha, Global Esports ended in 2nd place with a respectable 3-2 score. The squad took care of business in the opening round of the Playoffs Stage, beating DRX 2-1 and sweeping VARREL 2-0, before getting knocked down by NS RedForce.
Global Esports managed to beat T1 with a convincing 3-1 score in the Lower Bracket Final, setting themselves up for revenge against NS RedForce in the Grand Final. However, NS RedForce won the first two maps. That didn’t stop Global Esports from delivering one of the biggest comebacks in VALORANT esports history, as they won the next three maps in a row for a 3-2 victory.
With the historic reverse-sweep comeback completed, Global Esports hoisted the coveted trophy. Their South Korean star, Go “UdoTan” Kyung-won, was named the MVP of VCT 2026 Stage 2 Pacific. Congratulations!
Thanks to earning enough VCT points throughout 2026, Paper Rex and T1 are the 3rd/4th seeds from VCT Pacific that will represent the region at Champions Shanghai.
