VCT 2025 Kickoff China & Americas event details
With the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) OFF/SEASON 2024 now behind us, it’s time for the 2025 season to begin, featuring the best Valorant esports teams in the world competing for limited spots at the first VCT Masters event, Masters Bangkok. Let’s take a look at the most important details for both the VCT 2025 Kickoff China and Americas regional events.
VCT 2025 Kickoff China details
The VCT 2025 Kickoff China event runs from 11 to 25 January 2025 at the VCT CN Arena in Shanghai, China. Twelve teams will compete for only two spots at the VCT Masters Bangkok event, so there’s a lot on the line and little room for error.

The tournament features a double-elimination bracket, with most matches being best-of-three. Teams can use the new Agent, Tejo, from Week 2 of the event. The lower bracket final and grand finale are best-of-five.
VCT 2025 Kickoff Americas details
The VCT 2025 Kickoff Americas tournament is an offline event. Teams compete at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, United States. It will run from 16 January to 8 February 2025 and feature the best 12 teams from the region.

There are only two spots at the VCT 2025 Masters Bangkok up for grabs. The event follows the same format as Kickoff China, with a double-elimination bracket where all matches are BO3, except for the lower bracket final and grand finale, which are BO5.
