VCT 2024 Masters Madrid viewer’s guide
Are you hyped and ready to go, Valorant esports fans? You should be since the first Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) masters event of the year begins this week. We are, of course, talking about the exciting VCT 2024 Masters Madrid. Here’s what you need to know!
VCT Masters Madrid details
Hosted by Riot Games themselves, the VCT 2024 Masters Madrid event is a LAN tournament taking place in Spain, at the Madrid Arena. The event runs from this Thursday, 14 March 2024, until 24 March 2024, when a champion will be crowned.
Eight of the best teams in the world, who qualified via their regional VCT 2024 Kickoff events, will be in attendance, fighting for their share of the $500,000 prize pool. That’s roughly R9.5 million at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, in case you were wondering!

All eight (8) teams will first compete in a Swiss System Format, where all matches are BO3. This stage runs from 14 to 18 March 2024. The top four teams from the Swiss Stage proceed to the playoffs, which run from 21 to 24 March 2024 and feature a double-elimination bracket format. In the playoffs, the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are BO5, while the rest of the matches are BO3.
