Red Bull Kumite 2025 South African qualifier at CCCT 2024
Attention, everyone in the South African fighting game community! At Comic Con Cape Town 2024, Street Fighter 6 player will have a chance to earn a spot at the massive, international Red Bull Kumite 2025 event. Yes, there’s a Red Bull Kumite 2025 South African qualifier taking place this weekend, and you definitely shouldn’t miss out.

Let’s just get straight to the most important details, shall we? You can head on over to the Red Bull Kumite 2025 South African Qualifier page on the Start.gg website and register today for free. There are 128 spots available, and you will have to be at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), and purchase a ticket to Comic Con Africa Cape Town, to be able to participate.
The first day of the qualifier is Saturday, 27 April 2024, when the players will be whittled down to just 16. If you are one of the final 16 players, you will receive a Sunday Day Pass in order to compete in the rest of the qualifiers on 28 April 2024. The tournament organizer explains:
“Red Bull Kumite has become one of the must-watch tournaments on the Street Fighter and Fighting game community (FGC) calendar. At Comic Con Cape Town, one true champion will rise from one of the most brutal brackets ever seen in an FGC qualifier and earn their ticket to Kumite 2025.”

- 17:00PM – Bracket Ends with Top 16
Sunday April 28th, 2024
- 10:00AM – Top 16
- 17:00PM – Grand Finals
- 17:45PM – Closing Ceremony
