Your guide to Rocket League at EWC 2025
This week, the Esports World Cup 2025 mega-event has something special for Rocket League fans. A huge tournament featuring 16 of the best teams in the business will take place live in Saudi Arabia, at the stc Esports Arena in front of a crowd. Here’s what you must know.
EWC Rocket League event details
The Rocket League tournament at the EWC 2025 runs from 14 to 17 August, so mark those calendars and cancel those weekend plans!
Teams will first compete in a Group Stage, with four groups of four teams each in a GSL-style format. All matches are BO5, with the top two from each group advancing, and the bottom two getting eliminated. The Playoffs Stage follows, where the eight remaining teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket, where all matches, including the Grand Final, are BO7.
At the EWC Rocket League event, teams are competing for a huge $1 million prize pool, with an additional $10,000 going to the MVP. Check out all the teams competing in their respective groups outlined below.
