The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2026 Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) regional tournaments start up again this week, following the events at the Boston Major, where we watched as Gentle Mates beat Team Vitality in the Grand Final. Here’s what you must know about the RLCS 2026 SSA Open 4 event.
RLCS 2026 SSA Open 4 details
This week, the RLCS 2026 SSA Open 4 event kicks off, as teams begin their journey in the hopes of qualifying for the Paris Major. In case you missed it, Five Fears, with two South African players, represented the SSA region at the Boston Major.
The most important thing that Rocket League fans must know is that registration for the RLCS 2026 SSA Open 4 closes on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, at 17:00 SAST. Grab your team and register right now to compete.
There’s a huge $32,100 prize pool and RLCS points to compete for. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R530,000!
The event runs over two weekends, kicking off on 14 March 2026. Check out the schedule in SAST below.
- Day 1 (Double Elimination) – Saturday, March 14th, 2026 @ 5:00 pm SAST
- Day 2 (Swiss Stage) – Sunday, March 15th, 2026 @ 5:00 pm SAST
- Day 3 (GSL Stage) – Friday, March 20th, 2026 @ 5:00 pm SAST
- Day 4 (Hybrid Elimination) – Saturday, March 21st, 2026 @ 5:00 pm SAST
- Day 5 (Hybrid Elimination continued) – Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 @ 5:00 pm SAST
