RLCS 2026 season roadmap & schedule revealed

With the  Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2025 World Championship complete, where NRG took down Team Falcons with a 4-1 win in the Grand Final, it’s time to look at what’s next. Yes, Epic Games and BLAST.tv have announced the RLCS 2026 season roadmap and schedule, and it’s starting sooner than the name might suggest.

The RLCS 2026 season schedule

First of all, don’t worry, the 3v3 format will remain as the primary competition in RLCS 2026. Each region will once again compete across three online Opens per Split (6 total), including the awesome Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) events that I can’t wait to cover, with a Major LAN at the end of each Split. Then, as usual, the RLCS 2026 World Championship will take place as the crowning event.

The big news is, 2v2 will feature as a new competitive mode as well, alongside 1v1 sticking around. There’s also a new Kick-Off LAN to look forward to, a three-day event serving as the conclusion of Open #1.

RLCS 2026

So, when precisely does the RLCS 2026 season begin? Well, not in 2026! Instead, 14 November 2025 will mark the beginning of the season with the start of Split 1. Check out the regional start dates below.

  • NA & EU: November 14, 2025
  • SAM & APAC: November 15, 2025
  • MENA: November 21, 2025
  • OCE & SSA: November 22, 2025

The aforementioned Kick-Off LAN will take place from 5 to 7 December, and in February, we’ll see the first Major of the year. Split 2 runs from March to May 2026, and from June to July 2026, the Road to the World Championship will take place, including both RLCS 1v1 and 2v2 online Opens.

Now that’s a lot to look forward to. Stay tuned to Esports Central as we’ll bring you all the action from the SSA region throughout the RLCS 2026 season, as well as the big international events coverage.
