EWC 2026 Rocket League results & final standings
It’s been a wild ride at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 mega-event, with roughly 20 tournaments already completed. One of the tournaments that recently finished up features Rocket League, entertaining us from start to finish.
A total of 16 of the best teams in the world competed in vehicular soccer mayhem from 12 to 16 August 2026 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles venue in France, in front of a crowd. The squads duked it out for their share of the $1 million prize pool, which is roughly R16.3 million at the current exchange rate.
After a grueling Group Stage, only eight remained with a shot at the title. In the Quarterfinals, Team Falcons soared with a solid 4-2 win over Twisted Minds after going down 1-2 in the opening three games. Defending champions Karmine Corp fell short of greatness, as Team Falcons trampled over them with a 4-0 win in the Semifinals.
On the other side of the bracket, SpaceStation Gaming narrowly defeated Shopify Rebellion in the Quarterfinals, and NIP in the Semifinals, both with 4-3 scorelines to earn a spot in the Grand Finals.
Team Falcons delivered a flawless performance in the Grand Finals, sweeping Spacestation Gaming 4–0 to claim the title, $400,000 top prize, and 1,000 Club Championship points.
With the win, Team Falcons propelled themselves back to the top of the Club Championship leaderboard. One of their players, Saleh Abdullah “Rw9” Bakhashwin, was named the MVP and won an additional $25,000 for his efforts. Congratulations!
