Don’t forget to register for RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major SSA Open

With the Birmingham Major now complete, Rocket League esports teams are already practicing for the next RLCS 2025 events. That means you can register for the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major Sub-Saharan Africa tournaments coming your way in April, leading up to the Raleigh Major taking place in the United States late in June.

Take this news post as a bit of a reminder and public service announcement, because I don’t think everyone knows about the RLCS 2025 SSA events, and how to enter them. Let’s take a quick look so you don’t miss out!

Join the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major SSA Open events

It’s really simple, honestly, so if you love playing Rocket League and have some friends/teammates, then you can head on over to the RLCS 2025 SSA Open 4 page on Start.gg to get going. On that same page, there are also links to RLCS 2025 SSA Open 5 and Open 6, but for now, let’s just focus on the Open 4 event.

Registration closes on 14 April, and the tournament runs from 18 to 27 April. Check out the tournament participation guide and the event’s page for format details and requirements.

If you do well enough, you can earn a piece of the nice big prize pool and RLCS Points for a shot at actually qualifying for the Raleigh Major. The tournament organizers explain:

Majors will each consist of three Open events with over $24,000 USD in prizing for each event. Teams are encouraged to participate in as many Open events as possible within their region – you are able to play in all three! Each Major’s Opens will award RLCS Points which will be used as the qualification method for the applicable in-person Major. Both Majors will also award bonus RLCS Points — the teams with the most cumulative RLCS Points will play in the Rocket League World Championship!

• 3rd-4th: $1,800
• 5th-6th: $1,200
• 7th-8th: $900
• 9th-12th: $750
• 13th-16th: $450
• 17th-32nd: $300
